Adobe-vulnerables – install updates now!

Adobe has found fatal vulnerables in their program; Adobe Flash Player. After the last security update, two weeks ago, Adobe spread out the third flash batch this month. All operating systems are affected from these vulnerables.

Adobe advise their customers to update urgently for prevent yourself from a cyber-attack.

On the Adobe website you can check which flash version is installed on your currently opened browser and the actual flash versions. Don’t forget: if you have more browsers in use, you have to update flash in every browser seperatly.

If you automatically allow updates, the flash player patch will be installed automatically. You can also download the update when you click on this link.

IKARUS recommends activating automatically updates because there are often cases and out-breaks found containing vulnerables. The products from Adobe, especially Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Reader, are among some of the most frequently used products in the world and are therefore a common target.

At the moment there are many European governments affected by cyber-attacks. The malware MiniDuke is spread via a vulnerable in the Adobe Reader on the device. Read more about this topic in our report Cyber Attack also on European Governments.
