Overview
The efficient and effective virus protection for workstations (desktop and laptop) and server with Microsoft operating systems consist of two components: On the one hand, IKARUS anti.virus allows searching manually or automated for viruses, and on the other hand the “Guard” permanently runs in the background and monitors all read and write accesses. Automated updates, a configurable search function and the quarantine feature make the package complete and secure any PC against malicious attacks.
Besides, the anti-SPAM module supports e-mail-monitoring in Outlook and Outlook-Express: Incoming and outgoing e-mails are scanned, infected attachments are secured and possible SPAM is either marked or moved.
As additional features IKARUS anti.virus supports Microsoft SharePoint and offers the possibility to protect all settings with an individual password.
